Pianists have to adapt to a different piano every time they perform, and the most important thing that we look for is the action. It must be even and responsive to subtle changes and nuances that affect the articulation. Additionally, the piano must be able to produce strong, loud dynamics as well as whisper quiet voicing. For me, Wertheim pianos meet these requirements and more, and this is why I am so happy with my 131cm upright YP52 purchase. The action is remarkably fine tuned, the piano responds well to my intent, and the superior craftsmanship make it a joy to play. The quality of the parts and material used give me confidence that the piano will last a long time. And they are great value for money. I have had the opportunity to test many of the Wertheim models in the show room, and they are consistently great pianos to play. I am happy to recommend Wertheim to student and professional pianists alike

“Franz was very helpful in the purchase of the Wertheim W185 grand piano for Emmaus College’s new Performing Arts Centre. He was very forthcoming with advice regarding the instrument itself and methods of purchase. Once the instrument arrived, myself and the college community were very pleased with the piano and its beautiful look and quality of sound.”
